Is this synthetic rope or steel cable?
This is a steel cable. My husband has it mounted on his F-250 4x4 Diesel truck that he uses around the farm. It has been well worth the money spent and we’ve had no issues.

The VEVOR 4500 lb ATV/UTV Electric Winch uses standard M8 (8 mm) mounting bolts, following a 3.0" x 4.88" (76 mm x 124 mm) or 3.0" x 6.6" (76 mm x 168 mm) 4-bolt pattern depending on the plate/fairlead configuration.
