Why does the pump read 220 Volt ,but the plug in is 110 volt.

Does this submersible pump have a built in controller so it pumps water only when the outlet/tap is opened? And stops the pump when tap is closed? Or do I need to turn On/Off power switch everytime I want to pump water?

It has a built-in capacitor, and you can use it as soon as it is powered on. But it's not automatic, you need to manually turn it on and off.

I received pump type 4SDM4/12, is this a 220 or 110 v pump. The three wires are labeled Blue N Brown L Yellow PE how are these connected. If this has an internal control can an external control be used instead.
