I want to use this with the snapmaker U1 which is (584mm x 499mm x 730mm) . Can the top or sides be taken apart temporarily to make it easier to put inside? Also, I couldn't see in the pictures but can a hose be connected to the back to vent out a window like the regular printer tents? And what size hose would be compatible if it does? And what is the size of the fan?

The top and side panels can be temporarily removed or left uninstalled during setup to make placing your Snapmaker printer inside much easier. Yes, the enclosure comes equipped with a dedicated smoke extraction kit, allowing you to attach an exhaust hose to vent directly out a window. The system uses a 7.5 cm (approx. 3-inch) diameter hose, which attaches to the built-in ventilation fan designed specifically for 7.5 cm ducting.

How much weight can the printer enclosure hold? Is it possible that I can add a more rigid insert on top of pvc board to add extra strength?

Dear customer, The top PVC board is only for light items (≤ 5 lbs / 2.3 kg). It is NOT designed to support heavy loads or place a printer on top. Yes, you can add a rigid reinforcing insert on top of the PVC board to increase strength, as long as you do not drill, cut, or damage the metal frame.
