Firm ,straight beef fat doesn't grind easy in any size grinder. It grinds easiest if cut in smaller that 2 inch pieces and partially frozen. Suet, or kidney fat is even worse.
Easily grinds hard fat and a lot more....i love it...only drawback is that the tube does not come out so I must clean it by pouring hot water down with a brush, but no big deal...i would buy it again
