Will this 2hp vfd work for a 1 hp motor?

Hello Stephen. It can be used. As long as the power of the motor is not greater than the power of the inverter, it will be OK. But your motor must be a 3-phase 220V.

will this work on a small 4 pole synchronous motor in a record turntable to control speed by changing the 120 volt AC frequency from 60 hz to say 60.5 or so ?
No, it can currently only control AC asynchronous motors, not synchronous motors.

Good morning, I am wanting to run a pump to maintain a constant output pressure. Is there a way to run a pressure transducer back to this dive and set a signal to control motor speed to maintain a constant pressure?

You cannot use a pressure transmitter. You can use a pressure switch to achieve constant pressure output, but the pressure switch must be an electronic pressure switch, so the effect is good. If the pressure switch is a mechanical pressure switch, the effect will be poor.
