I have milked cows for over 30 years. I missed having fresh milk so I now only milk the one family cow. Rather than reworking the existing milking system I decided to try this portable milker. It does a good job of milking the cow, it cleans up well, and moves about the barns easily. I did change out the cluster to a DeLaval which I had around but that was just personal preference. It could use a bit more vacuum reserve for attaching the cluster to the cow, but it recovers well and actually makes for a nice gentle start to the milking let down phase. For a single family cow or a small string of show cows at the fair, I would highly recommend this unit, especially at this price.

Only down side….. doesn’t come with constructions. But I’ve milked cows most of my youth so putting it together just took a bit of common sense and looking at the picture. I’ve used it everyday for 3 weeks milking my Jersey cow. It’ll lose suction fairly quickly if you don’t get the unit on the cow quickly but once it’s on it works as a dream. My Jersey gives about 4 gallons once a day and I can get her milked in less then 10 minutes with the unit. I was very reluctant buying a cheap milking unit from Amazon but I am extremely happy with how well it’s worked so far. Trust me when I say this it’ll do what you need it to if your milking a small cow or two once or twice a day. Cleaning it is slightly a pain in the ass but empty the collection jug then run bleach and dish soap through the unit then empty it. Then run hit clean water through the unit empty it again and let it dry for the next day. That by itself is another ten minutes of screwing around. Otherwise for a small one family cow operation I love this. Don’t hesitate to give it a try.

My milker came with a diagram/picture and instructions. Instructions were a bit vague but I easily figured out what to do. I have noticed if the teat gets in off center, little to no milk will come out. Milking three goats, I usually have to reposition one or two teats. I thought the noise would bug my goats, it doesn’t. They actually seem to like it better because it is quicker than I am. Two goats have little teats that I can only get my thumb and one finger on, the milker doesn’t care about size. It works fine on all three. I do notice that I have to hand milk at the end because there is still some milk left in the udder, takes me a minute or so per goat. I do wash with soap and water then run an milking acid wash through everything. The wire brushes work great, too. No issues with mold or build-up. There was also extra parts that at first threw me off until I realized they were spare parts. I will post again in a few months on durability.

Okay, we recently got this for our goats, used it approximately 10 times and works very well. Milking time takes just a few minutes and keeps milk clean. We are relatively new to milking goats, that being said we've already starting making ice cream (Outstanding!) and butter (still working on that one). Also very easy to clean the lines out.

Before using this system we were milking by hand as our small self made milking system quit working. We needed another system and ordered this one. The communication with the seller was very good and helpful. Our system came with the 5th Gen of pulse vacuum pump which has worked very well and saved us a lot of time milking. We milk Nigerian Dwarf goats and the system has worked great with the smaller teats on our goats.

The machine has good suction power easy to use and does a good job.

I got this machine about 4 months ago. Only have one I milk at the moment. From getting it out of the box,until last week, I milked her once a day and cleaned it on only the charge in the battery. Last week it started to go a little slower ,still would have gone for a few more milkings. I did have one machine from Dansha farms and it was total rubbish. This is professionally made compared the the other one. Highly recommend it!

Doesn’t have a super amount of vacuum but once you get it attached it works great. We even bought a second one.

My wife had surgery on her hand, and I had to milk the goats,and with my big hands and before her surgery,we would get about a quarter cup of milk in about 15 minutes, now we get about 3 cups in 2 minutes. I love it and she loves it. And so easy to use and clean..
