Smooth starts and much quieter
For the money, this seems like a good deal. My old clutch was rattling and jerky on startup. Not a hugely difficult install but recommend the clutch puller. Goes on easier with 2 people. Smooth starts now and much quieter than the old clutch. Not sure about longevity but So far so good.

Works perfect on my 1996 yamaha G16 golf cart. You will need a puller to remove the old one so order that when you buy this. Have been using this for a few months with no issues.

Fit great all needed parts were supplied in kit
Installed on my 1989 Yamaha G2 golf cart. All the necessary parts were included. Due to frame constraints, I had to install this piece by piece. Some carts, you can assemble on a bench with a holding device and install the clutch as a unit. On the 1989 G2, you cannot do that. I had to compress the clutch with a ratchet strap as I installed the nut. Not easy but doable. As far as the operation goes, the clutch works well. It is not a smooth as I would like but it may get better as the ramp shoes wear in. I added a thin layer of grease to the ramps and it definitely helped. Overall it is a very good product and reasonable costs.

Don't let the price fool you. Great quality and finish compares to original Yamaha parts, would not be surprised if these are not what Yamaha dealers ship out repackaged. No instructions but you can follow other postings. Keep track of what washer goes where. My cart never ran better and climbs hill like a mule
