Angled Flip-Up 5-Step
A ladder was installed on the front of my 22.2' pontoon boat. I had to extend it out 6" to clear the steering cable. I used 2' of 2" square tube, bolted to the boat with ⅜ ss bolts, and mounted the ladder to the tubing. I topped it with a Trex decking board. A similar ladder from a high-end marine shop runs around $1200.00. See pictures of the start-to-finish install.

This is a fantastic dock/pool ladder! It is so much more heavy duty, durable and just overall well-made Then I had ever expected it to be. I have seen plenty of pool ladders over the years and none have been quite as impressive as this one, though the instructions could have been better. This is the kind of ladder that will endure throughout the years, probably longer than most above ground pools are expected to last. It feels nice and secure when using it. I don't feel as though it's flimsy in any way and the guard rails are really strong and easy to grip. Each of the ladder steps are also made with grip so as to prevent any slippage or accidents. I'm really pleased with this and would definitely recommend to anyone!
