As a homeowner, I usually rent one of these when I need to clean out my drain line, but at this price I finally decided it made more sense to own one. We have a lot of trees around our house, and clearing roots out of the line has become a yearly thing for us. Renting one locally costs me around $80 for a day, so this should start saving me money after a few uses. This VEVOR drain cleaner has worked really well so far. My cleanout is about 50 feet from the house, and the line runs near trees, so I mostly needed something that could chew through roots. The cutter attachment did a great job, and the machine had plenty of power to snake through the drain without struggling. I also really like the foot pedal. The rental units I have used usually just have switches, so having foot control makes the job easier and a little safer. It is strong, rolls around well enough, and I just keep it in my storage unit for when I need it. I already have friends asking to borrow it, so I think this thing is going to earn its keep pretty quickly.
