For the first phase water wort cooling, can I skip water circulation? I usually just let wort cool on its own for a day.
How is fermentation determined to be completed?
It’s fine to let the wort cool down naturally without water circulation, just keep the lid well sealed. You can check the sugar content to judge fermentation completion; fermentation is basically finished when the sugar content drops to 2–3 degrees. Normally, the main fermentation will be completed in five days.

I see cooling to 41 degrees for ready beer. Is that the coldest it can get for fermentation?
The machine uses semiconductor refrigeration, and the temperature of the circulating water jacket can reach 4 degrees Celsius, while the temperature inside the fermentation tank can reach about 6-8 degrees Celsius.

Can you bottle the beer with standard US beer bottles? For example, a 16 oz bottle with a bottling wand.
Can you use your own grains and hops?
Carbonation occurs during or after fermentation. For transferring IPA beer styles, use a two-way transfer tube and proceed via isobaric transfer.

From the online description and picture I noticed that it works with the Soda Stream pink CO2 cylinders. Is this necessary or can it be connected to a separate 5lb tank.
All carbon dioxide cylinders are compatible, the only requirement is a matching connecting tube. We recommend using small cylinders because a dedicated cylinder slot is pre-installed for this purpose.
