scomide ~ 50% larger than the 120V, 56C frame it replaced

The starting circuit on my 120 Volt drill press died. I used the opportunity to replace it with this three-phase motor and a VFD for the ultimate ease of speed control. Now, with this, when the speed is wrong, I don't just deal with it because I don't want to mess with the belts. I just flip a couple of switches. Voilà, there I am at the perfect speed for the drill bit I'm using.
This motor is quite a bit larger than the one I took out. Although they were both labeled as 56C frame motors. I had to trim some sheet metal in order to get this to line up with the bolt holes. Even then, it barely fit. This motor must be on the very tip, top, upper end of the 56C frame spec.
