Can you add a wire wheel or budding wheel to this. Can the guards be removed for buffing with pads?

The thickness of the wire wheel should not exceed 16mm. You can remove the guard and use a cloth polishing wheel. You need your own bushings/gaskets for the wire wheel and cloth wheel, the machine itself does not come with them.

Runs very smooth. I had an issue of missing parts. However, Vevor resolved and shipped missing parts to me. It took a bit to identify the missing parts, verified, and shipped. But you can really only tell a good company after there are problems and you find out how they deal with them. Vevor fixed the problem and all is good. I am very pleased with the grinder.

Great bench grinder
When I received this bench grinder one of the wheels was badly chipped and vibrated, but after a few pictures and a couple emails vevor sent me a new wheel and it now purrs like a kitten. Thanks Vevor!

I used my grinder about a dozen times. Very happy with it so far. I replaced the fine grinding wheel with a good quality wire wheel. Runs quiet and smooth. Love the speed control. Does not walk on my benchtop which was a big problem with my old grinder. I do have a suggestion for improvement: the water cool tray should be steel or cast iron not plastic. I love the LED lights. Just remember to turn them off when you're done. In any case, another very satisfied customer with my number of Vevor tools adding up.

Good grinder
Put a multitool 2*48 belt sander on one side and a polish disk on other. Usually use it at slowest possible speed. Learned you have to turn it up to high periodically because it gets very hot running on low. Like hot enough to discolor the orange paint. I figured it would burn out within 6 months from the heat but from modifying my usage and speeding it up or cutting it off to rest , it's been working fine for a year now. Works great for the price.
