Fit like a glove

Honestly, having this delivered to my home instead of having to pick it up is the best part. But this is a solid bamboo counter/table. At 1.5 inches thick it can be a desk top, or a custom cut countertop. Honestly, my use is a countertop, and this was great, I was attaching cabinets to a window ledge that was the same exact height, but made the total counter depth more than the standard 25 inches. So getting this let me easily cut a custom slab and fit it nicely to my window and counter.

Like any bamboo, the way you make it is strip the wood flat and press them together. This table top is like 1,000 bamboo strips pressed together. However, there were some flaws - in several spots, the individual strips of bamboo were pulling apart, so it looks like the wood has small gaps or splits in it. Bamboo is particularly susceptible to moisture, so you don't want water getting in there. Overall the table is sealed up very well in multiple coats of clearcoat. But I may have to seal up the little gaps. Due to the defects I don't believe this is a great choice for a kitchen countertop, but would be a great choice for an art table or drafting table, work bench, desk, those kinds of things. It's a tad expensive. I see similar wood tops at Swedish furniture type stores for about half as much. They're not bamboo, but they're comparable. It's beautiful though, and heavy duty. If you keep it away from moisture I suspect it will last a very long time.

The surface is super smooth and looks great. We are using this to ship packages and I can tell that it’s going to be a breeze cutting and perforating boxes. There is somewhat of a sheen to the wood so it’s generally protected from anything being stuck on and is very smooth.

shipped in good strong cardboard for protection, no issues... Bamboo is a heavy wood, and its great for work top... looks amazing. The build quality is superb, the glue lines are barely visible, you can tell these are made with high pressure machinery in a factory, not home brew. you can find lower cost tops at big box stores, but not made form bamboo, the density is impressive, and hardness is ideal to avoid dents, about 50% harder than walnut, on par with hard maples... this top will LAST. Corners are rounded just enough, as well as the edges, sanded well, varnish finish is applied nice n even... if work top, be prepared to refresh every year or two. considering the cost of this is on par with what the raw bamboo would cost me to buy and build... so deliverd to my door ready to assemble for about same price... 5 stars, recommended

Got this VEVOR bamboo table top as another workstation spot in my office, and it worked out pretty great. I bought a set of 4 30 inch legs to screw into it, and set it up on the day I received it. Table itself is a great size, and has a decent bit of thickness to it. It is quite heavy, so if you're a smaller person you may need some help to move it and put legs on. It came fairly clean in the box but I gave it a good wipe down before drilling pilot holes for the legs, and screwing them on. The holes came out clean and it's definitely solid wood, no mistake there. The grain on it looks really nice and seems to be as high quality as one that you'd get at Ikea, Homedepot, Lowes, or the like. There was one minor scratch on the table, which must have happened in the factory. It came really well packaged, fully surrounded by styrofoam and a layer of cardboard, so I'm fairly certain this did not happen due to transit. This wasn't really a problem as I just put it on the underside. Can't wait to use this table every day! I put only 4 legs on it because I anticipate only loading it with up to like 75lbs. You may want one in the mid back if you plan to load it up with a ton of weight, but it feels pretty sturdy, so that would just be for extra safety.

I got this to make a table which will serve a lot of roles...it will be a desk for a YouTube channel set...a workbench...possibly even a dining table. I intend to put a set of electric standing desk legs on it, which should be pretty easy. When I got it, I was surprised not only to see the quality of finish, but the fact it was perfectly flat and straight...not bad. Not bad at all. I may end up taking it outside this spring and spraying a few coats of spar urethane on it to make it even more durable than it already is. I took a star off this review for Vevor sticking a huge obnoxious sticker with their name on it right in the corner. I'll have to heat this up with a hair dryer to remove it...I would have preferred not to do that. I can imagine someone buying this to use as a workbench...but not as a billboard for Vevor. You made a beautiful piece of wood here...don't ruin it with stickers. 4 stars. Would have been 5 w/o the sticker.
