I purchased the VEVOR universal tractor seat replacement, compact high back mower seat and a Trac Seats low-profile mechanical seat suspension kit to replace the standard factory seat on Bad Boy MZ 42 Zero-Turn mower (2021).The Vevor seat bolt pattern was a perfect match for the suspension kit and the suspension kit perfectly mounted to the mower deck; no drjilling required.Vevor supplies the seat only, no bolts.In order to provide working clearance after installation,the seat suspension kit required spacers between the lower frame of the kit and the mower deck.I purchased the necessary bolts, flat and lock washers and utilized 3/8 inch galvanized pipe couplings to provide operating spacer between the suspension kit and the mower deck.The Bad Boy seat safety switch will NOT mount to the Vevor seat.It is a 'normally open' switch.I purchased a Stens 430-239 Seat Switch (normally open), which mounts perfectly with the Vevor seat.I cut the mower safety switch wiring and extended it to provide additional length required for mounting the seat/suspension combo.I purchased a 1" rubber grommet and installed it in the suspension frame hole for wiring from the safety switch.Note: It's crucial to match the seat to the suspension kit assuring clearance for the safety switch wiring.Addition of the Vevor high back mower seat and the Trac Seats suspension platform to the Bad Boy MZ 42 Zero-Turn mower was a ☆☆☆☆☆ improvement.There's no comparison of the mower operating comfort before and after the upgrade, a real 'back-saver'.
