The packaging arrived beaten badly. I ordered 2, and the hardware was missing from one. Other than that, it is exactly what I needed for this project.

Great vise. Lost the nuts & bolts due to weak packaging, shipping department take note.

This thing is built pretty good , very heavy and should be a handy vice to hold projects together, will mount today but cant see where it would not work just fine

The vise parts appear to be nice and solid. When I mount it it will be grand. The price is cheaper then making it yourself

This vise has a nice concept as far as it goes.Other than the threads on the mount, there is no machining. It is just a raw casting. The surface that mounts against the bottom of the 20mm guide rods pass through holes in the casting.If the castings were machined flat and the holes for the rods were machined and had guide bushings this vise would be a home run. It works as is. At this price point it is about as good as you could expect.

Cheap imitation cardboard box arrived damaged, pieces missing, free replacement, just time waiting.

Purchased this as an inexpensive front vise for a mobile work surface. The vise is fine. The problem is that is arrived missing an acorn nut. I contacted Amazon who suggested I return the vise for a replacement which seemed a bit excessive for a missing nut. I contacted the manufacture (Vevor), and got the following:"Please allow me to clarify that we are the official website customer service and do not have the right to process orders from other platforms.And also we do not sell any parts."So, HomeDepot solved the part problem. The vise is and works as expected. I had been considering the purchase of a mini lathe from Vevor. This customer service experience has convinced me otherwise.

I'm building a new workbench wanted a no frills face vise this fit the bill perfectly. It arrived a day sooner then expected was missing one of the guide rods company sent a new one out that day can't ask for better service. Template would go a long ways for the install I'd rate the ease of install at 3 stars all in all I recommend this vise and can vouch for the sellers great customer service.

Take your time and it will be fine.
