Good thing I checked the handle hole before I went out to my home improvement store to buy at 1 and 1/8 inch diameter wooden dowl. Surprise, surprise!!! Handle hole is .930. Watch out!!!!!!!!

The vise itself seems great. It definitely check the bang for your buck box. However the packaging was horrible. The shipping guy was stumbling with it. Bolts and nuts were all gone except for the one I saw fall out when he jumped out the back of his truck. The vise itself was out of the box. Good luck getting your vise in usable condition.

This Bench Vice was easy to install and is perfect for my shop.

It’s very finicky. Sometimes it gets stuck and it won’t unclamp. I don’t know if this is what a speed set is supposed to be like.
