Turkey fryer was used to heat water for scalding chickens. It heated water faster than expected and maintained temperature with a minor adjustment . I'm very satisfied wit the purchase.

Worked great for our very first fried turkeys! Regulator works fine though it does dial in opposite direction of the propane tank. Initial fire burned off the paint on the stand. To be expected. Nothing to be concerned about. Will use it again for wings and fries in a couple weeks. Enjoy!
