This is a great upgrade to an intex or equivalent above ground pool. It has enough suction to power skimmer baskets, automated vacuums, and circulates water much quicker. Great upgrade, just make sure to order adapters for your hose sizes for ease of use.

This pump has been great so far, ordered just before pool season, hooked it right up and ran perfect. I did have to replace the first one because it locked up however I'm still giving it 5 stars due to how quiet it is and when I explained my situation to the vendor they were very understanding and accommodated my needs. There was no hassle with the return, and received the replacement in two days. A great buy in my opinion!
