if the release pedal didnt break it would almost be perfect for small shops or home shops but after making a stronger release pedal it works great!! save on money on struts by re useing your springs!!

Used this Strut Spring compressor for the first time this weekend and I was impressed. It made the changing of the springs effortless and safe. The strut fits in the holder so so. The centre bolt that holds the spring is accessible, but the 2 other bolts on the strut, make it so you need to rotate the strut to try and fit one or all of them under the black horseshoe shaped piece. Even though the spring sat somewhat level in the holders and I secured the chain around the spring and tool in case of it slipping out. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a safe way to change springs on a strut.
