If you are a dyi type of person like I am and have some common sense, this tool will 1: make it safer for you while changing your shocks and 2: it is very quick and convenient. Only downfall is you have to put it together yourself and the item was not packed the best. Overall I’m really happy

I bought this for my feiance and we found this to be a bit of a challenge because when placing the FRONT struts only it was difficult. Also the pin was missing from the puddle pumper. Other than that for the price and sturdyness it was good.

So the tool itself is great for the price, however the chain they provide to hold the strut does not hold the strut very well. I had to use a heavy duty ratchet strap to hold the strut to the spring compressor. Only other thing I can say is I wish the chain and the base gets redesigned or added to, when you put the heavy strut on the strut compressor will start to lean forward and not stay straight. All in all it was a nice tool especially at the price and I was able to do the Struts on my Subaru. Once i got the ratchet strap on their I flew through the 4 struts in about 45 minutes.

Makes spring compression a breezeI did rear shocks on a 2010 Toyota car, so far so good!

Using the old type of spring compressor takes an hour a spring to remove and install new springs on a strut. This design took only four minutes to swap out. Incredible tool.

Great concept. Worked better, faster than other supporting compressesers I've used. Would stick to lighter weight struts, no truck springs.
