These are great shelves and extremely easy to put together. The surprise was how heavy the boxes were. The directions were clear. What I really like with these is that they come with a support piece that slides in the middle of the shelves. We have a set of older shelving units like this and they don't have that. The only piece of advice I would have is to use a heavy mallet instead of the little hammer that comes with the shelves. I destroyed two of those hammers on two shelves (with lots of pounding), but the mallet works so much better. It is a shame that the hammer that comes with the shelf is really a one-use only hammer. But that has nothing to do with the shelves. I am really happy with these.

I like theses shelves. I have them in my office for better organization. I assembled them myself and it took me about 90 minutes. Other customers are correct; use a better and bigger mallet than the small one provided in the box. I didn't use the provided gloves and ended up with a couple of metal splinters in my thumb. The shelves are sturdy enough for my office use. I used Bankers boxes for storing my things. I'm thinking about buying the matching smaller corner unit also. It would definitely help to have a second person with you to begin the assembly of the unit. I think the shelving unit is attractive for an office setting.

This is a pretty good shelf, all of our camping stuff that we keep in totes fits very nicely. Some bags like pop up canopies fit well on top.

Sturdy and relatively easy shelf to assemble at a good price, I’ve been using it to store some server equipment and it’s held up very nicely. The customizability is a huge plus as well, would definitely buy this again!
