The shelves were a bit difficult to put together but are much more sturdy than the wire shelves I typically order. Pros: - Sturdy - Mallet provided in box Cons: - Heavy - Instructions not as clear as they could be - Requires a notable amount of strength to move box solo and to put together with the mallet provided

Upon opening the package, the description of \"heavy duty\" comes into question. The gauge still used is pretty thin, but when it is all assembled it seems pretty sturdy. While the mallet is handy, one should wear glasses, when hammering at eye level, due to the flakes of finish that fly off the steel.

This shelving unit was so easy to assemble. It recommends two people, I did it by myself. I like that it came with gloves and a mallet, that's where the only cons come in, the gloves are very small, I have small hands and they barely fit me and do yourself a favor and use a 16 oz rubber mallet, it works so much better than the one included. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

For the price, we weren’t expecting them to be as sturdier than ones we paid twice the amount for at a Marlo known home improvement store. We were pleasantly surprised they are much nicer and sturdier than the ones we already had Great value, great product
