I spent many months putting off a steam generator for a new bathroom I put in at my house and just happened to stumble upon this unit which seemed too good to be true. So far it is perfect... I was able to install everything myself and am by no means an electrician or plumber but it you are not comfortable please hire either because these are not fun to install. The directions are pretty straight forward however every install is different. I purchased the 15kw unit and second guessed myself due to having 6/2 already run on a 50A breaker. I disconnected one bank, the no. 6 out wire to take it down to 12kw. This can be done by removing the access panel and you will see everything clearly labeled. Just remove one of the out wires to decrease wattage. Unit heats within 4 minutes and runs fine for my roughly 350 cu ft shower. I assumed i could get by running drain to 5 gallon bucket temporarily however every time you run unit it discharges about 5.5 gallons out of drain so you need to plumb it to a dedicated drain. I ran 1/2 pex to pressure regulator at 20 lbs then did a 1/2x1/2 stainless supply line after shut off valve to the generator intake. I ran 3/4 stainless flex tube to 3/4 galvanized pipe into the shower itself for steam. It holds on 50A breaker, takes about 4 minutes to start producing steam when cold. Very happy with unit so far.

So have installed several of these. They really do hold up well for being inexpensive. Over the last 10 years I've gone through probably 30 steam saunas. I've been searching for one that's going to last a little bit longer that isn't expensive. This has been my favorite one so far.

We moved into a very old house with a nonworking steam shower, an old Mr Steam unit that appears to be like 20 years old. After finding out the heating element was broken, and that the heating element was $360, we decided to try this one out to save some $$$.This thing works totally fine. The manual drain can be a minor pain. But getting a working steamer for $200 in a house we are only renting, no complaints here.It takes awhile to heat up but we also have a massive tiled steam shower and it does eventually get cranking.Well worth

My experiences with this unit have been nothing but favorable, beginning with the unit arriving three days early. The construction is very good including a stainless steel tank and corrosion resistant powder paint. The operating features include three level probe design, all connections are at the front of the unit, diagnostic test button and led's, drain and flush option (not available during purchase), input water magnetizer option (not available during purchase) excellent temperature control and accuracy and a long controller cable (16').However, checking and tightening all electrical and mechanical connections prior to installing the unit is a good idea. The tank assembly is not properly secured and may slide forward and back slightly, thus additionally clamping is suggested.Because scaling is a problem with all steam-bath generators, I activated the automatic drain feature and replaced the drain valve with a drain solenoid and added a magnetizer to the input water tubing. The unit automatically flushes seven times and empties the boiler at the end of each steam-bath session!However, the unit is not available with the auto flush/drain solenoid, so I purchased one from Amazon for $28 and wired it to J6 and set the DR switch (SW1) to ON. This is a good buy since other manufacturers sell the solenoid for $400! It actually does 3 to 4 flushes before draining.Chris

Steam generator is well built and produces excellent steam volume in 5 minutes. Hook-up was easy per instructions. Excellent value for the unit!

Very easy to install. Very straightforward. Takes only 2 minutes to start blowing hard steam. I wouldn't use this with your house if you have really hard water unless you put some sort of filter it before it. I was kind of worried at the first time I used it because at the end it made all sorts of noises and girls and what not. Turns out that's the self-cleaning mechanism which is pretty cool. It drains itself. I'd buy it again.

I have not been able to install the product, I need you to please send me the installation manual and/or a video on how to do it, please.

I've been pleading with this company and their people regarding a faulty controller and the overall inability to use the product that I paid for. I've paid to have this steam generator installed only to discover the controller's numbers are stuck in position nor can I get the steam generator to began functioning. I've asked for an exchange and I received robotic(automated email) replies regarding my circumstance. Additionally in this email I'm instructed to provide pictures and video of the issue I'm experiencing, provided this company research on a product that should have been researched for quality control prior to sell. Instead of replacing my steam generator with one that is new and functional I'm being instructed to provided quality control research as a customer to the company. When I the customer paid for a simple luxury that is costing me twice the price of the original purchase. I hope no one else gets caught up in this example of poor customer service due to automation and or refusal to acknowledge my new circumstances due to this company selling me a faulty product. I SURE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO USE THIS PRODUCT, THIS WAS TO SUPPOSE TO SAVE ME FROM EXPENSIVE SPA GYM MEMBERSHIPS!
