So far so good.
Works fine and easy install. Working great for a few months now. More flow than my old pump. I just bought another one to replace my other pump that has a small leak in the plastic housing. Original pumps are 18 years old. Fingers crossed these pumps will last.

Worked great right out of the box!
I read all the reviews! Now I am pretty good at installing things and assembly, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to do this. Electrical might be challenging but if you follow directions and turn the breaker off it should work.

More power, less electricity
I really like how easy it was to install - wiring and plumbing. It's working much better than the pump it replaced for less money than the cost of a replacement pump housing and rotor.

2hp Pool Pump
I've had this pump for over 6 months now and it has performed perfectly, has great suction, it seems a bit weak for a 2hp pump but at the price I'm well satisfied.

Powerful and quiet
This 2hp motor and pump run very strong. I have a 11,000 gallon oval pool at 15x30. Started the season with a very murky pool and had to run the pump 24/7 for a week until it was crystal clear. Motor did not show signs of overheating and I can leave my hand on the motor and not get burned. I did have the system under an umbrella to keep the sun from adding to the heat. The water jet swirls around the entire pool as if your kids were creating a whirlpool. My old pump and motor was running at 7PSI. With this new pump and motor I am running at 18PSI so make sure you have good hoses and strong connections. When it hits 25PSI I noticed the flowrate dropped by a third and it was time for a backwash. After 1 min backwash I was back at full flowrate. Pictures are before and after 7 days apart. As you can see from the photo I had the pump and motor shaded. Once I stopped the motor all the fine sand and silt settled to the bottom and I was able to vacuum.

Low cost and performs well
I first purchased a much more expensive pump, but it arrived with many parts broken and had to be returned. Went back to Amazon shopping and found this pump for half the price. I installed the pump, panels (not included with purchase) and controller myself. All very straight forward. I left my AC pump plumbed in just in case the new DC pump was not strong enough to use to vacuum however the DC pump does just fine and moves plenty of water to vacuum pool. Very happy with this product Sun comes up, pump turns on. Sun goes down, pump shuts off. During summer my pump runs 11hrs a day, something I couldn't afford to do on AC. Pool has never been cleaner. Thank you!

Works Great
Easy to set up and get going. Moves a LOT of water through it in a short amount of time. It's a good quality pump that we are please with.

Great price - solid power - poor wiring
This 2.0hp dual speed pump is by far the most affordable dual speed Inground pump you can find. After spending many times more to only get a few years use out of them i went cheap with this one and so far it’s worked great. The pump body is well made - basket and impeller construction better than my previous doheneys model. It runs much quieter than my previous 1.5hp pumps and uses less amps as well on both speeds for a higher flow rate. The water connection threading seemed slightly larger than standard so be prepared to tape and seal to get around leaks. The wiring on this pump is a downside - it is non standard and not marked correctly on the unit. It is easy to do if you read the instructions and look at the (very small) wiring diagram, just not what it should be for a 240v device in the US. You will need to crimp on some yellow 10-12ga quick connects - it does not have compression screw posts. The only other issue I have is the pump runs pretty warm on high. Once I am able to run it more often in low I expect it will be much cooler for the rest of the season. I am not sure how long it will last - but at this price it is on par with my previous models if it lasts a season.

Rotating exit port
The instructions state that rotating the exit port is done by removing the input strainer, then remove 8 "bolts" and turn the port. Ya, no, the 'bolts' are actually screws and have nothing whatsoever to do with turning the port. Remove the strainer as it says, then remove the end cap on the other side. unfasten the 4 bolts there ( do not pull them out ) turn the exit port and re-tighten the 4 bolts, replace the cap and strainer. Other than spending 30 minutes fussin with the exit port this is a good pump, I bought 2.

Hard to hook up cause of the fittings
I use this for my pool but due to the weird fittings I haven’t yet hooked up. Still trying to find fittings that will work
