I like this 2.0 hp VEVOR pump that replaced my 6 year old Hayward 1.0hp pump. This sucker really moves the water with a lot of force. The only drawback is that it doesn't have an on/off switch, which is fine as I use mine connected to a timer with a remote control. I can turn it on and off with the remote or set it to run for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours at a time. The only time you need the on/off ability is when you are backwashing the sand filter. I've only had this pump for 3 days now, but so far so good.

This was easy to set up and nook to my sand filter. I have them sitting on concrete next to the pool and covered so rain doesn't get to it. It's easy to prime and it really gets the water moving.

Pump works really well. We were told that we'll need to get a thicker extension cord to see if that will keep it cooler. Pump get very hot even if in shade.

Working fine, no issues so far. I can have a normal conversation in front of the Pump. And yes, the pool is clean.

I'm impressed. I found this very easy to install and get working. Schedule set-up wasn't difficult at all...if you can set your clock on your microwave, you can set this timer. My electrical bill is lower, my pool is cleaner, and my pump is quieter (gave four stars for noise because at highest RPM it's a little noisy, but still better than my old 2hp). Very happy with the purchase.

I have been using this pump for about a month and so far I like it. As others said it is a little loud at full speed but I only use that when vacuuming or adding chemicals. I like all the programmable features but I did have to watch a video to learn how to program it to run as I wanted it.

Replaced an old single speed with this one. Old motor pulled 10.8 amps. New motor on full blast was only 6 amps. Once I set up the timers with the flow meter I installed it was easy to see this was going to save a ton of power

Holy Grail of pool pumps. Reduces power by a factor of 4 during normal cleaning.

I was at first skeptical about buying a non-brand name pump. But once I installed it and fired it up, I was very pleasantly surprised. It's quiet and the pre wired 220V made it simple to connect. The strainer is easy to access as well as the 2" input and output receptacles. It's now been on 24/7 for over three months and is working like a champ.
