I have used this pump and filter all season and it works great. Maybe the assembly instructions could be a little better.

I really like this system. It has greatly improved the looks of my pool. The water is very clear. I believe the rate of circulation in my pool has saved me money on chemicals.

Switched to this after a disaster with cartridge filter. Prefer sand filters and this one has worked great so far

GREAT BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. THE STAFF WAS QUICK TO HELP WITH ANY ISSUES THAT I HAD WHICH I HAD A MINOR ISSUE WITH THE GASKET AND THEY CORRECTED IT RIGHT AWAY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VEVOR FOR MANY OF YOUR NEEDS IF YOU'RE TRYING TO CUT COST AND STILL KEEP QUALITY.

Great sand filter and pump. Unlike Intex, this brand actually moves the gph as it reads or at least it does with this pump. Cycles the water very effectively. Great pump pressure for proper circulation and filtering. Power cord is probably the shortest I've ever seen. Should've at least came with a 6 ft. Cord. Pump hole alignment when bolting to the plastic base was a little off but able to bolt it in with some finesse. The filter lid is a pain in the gluteus maximus to get on and off but once I figured it out, there's nothing to it. There's no drain for the air in the line after the removal/ reinstallation of the filter lid but once I figured out that it rids itself of the air with the restart of the pump, I was fine with it. If you are hooking this up to a best way, summer waves, Coleman etc above ground pool, you will need to purchase the fittings from your local pool supplier or like I did on Amazon. The sand filter and pump is Metric threads and the pools hoses are Standard threads. Again the pump and sand filter are great and work as it should. There's just a few things mentioned that need to be reconsidered for quality improvement. Aside from those I very highly recommend this pump and sand filter to anyone needing this within the gph requirements. Would definitely buy again.

This filter has made my life so much easier. my pool has never been this crystal clear. We have been battling 100°+ temps here in Texas, my pool needs very little attention to keep it this clear.

Have been real happy with our sand filter. Had trouble at first finding the reducer we needed to put the hoses on the sand filter. After we found them it hooked up great.

I bought this pump to use with my Coleman pool it keeps my water crystal clear. The problem I have with it is that I had a hard time attaching the return hose to the filter valve port, due to my pool hose being 1 1/4 and the valve port being 1.5 slip and not threaded. If it would of Been threaded like on the pump and came with the same adapter it would of been a easy install and I would have gave a 5 star review.

Don't get the negative reviews on Amazon about putting sand in the pool. I have not had any issues with this filter and the pump really moves the water. Also added a Hayward skimmer and these work great together. My only minor complaint is that it is advertised with recirculating setting on valve which it doesn't have. Ordered the adapters on Amazon as shown in the video on the vevor site and installation was a breeze. One other review on Amazon talked about no gfci plug on cord which is true but code requires all outdoor outlets to be gfci protected anyway and definitely gfci on a pool outlet. Only other complaint would be a longer power cable but all in all pros outway the cons. GREAT INVESTMENT!

I bought this filter/pump to replace a 1/2 horse 12 inch sand filter that was one year old. The 1 horse 16 inch sand filter combo works great. I would have given it five stars but the plastic fittings with the rub ber washers dont seal so they leak. They send teflon tape that its so thin you can read a newspaper thru it, throw it away and use a decent teflon tape on all fitting or fight the leaks. Lesson learned the hard way. Other than the leaks, it works great!!!
