Assembly is easy and installs nicely. Filters out 10000 gallon pool with ease and made our pool maintenance a breeze

Pump is very quiet. Flow actually impressed me.. it’s not a big motor. Ran on 50’ 16awg extension cord. Was slightly warm at the wall outlet. Not a big deal. Motor didn’t run hot enough to cause any concern. Could hold my hand to the motor body indefinitely. I unplugged it whenever the pool was in use. Pressure never rose above 8 pounds. Backwashed once in about 10 weeks. Got cold so I put it up for the winter. Filling with sand was somewhat cumbersome as the pipe inside the tank is not positively affixed at the bottom.. I figured a way but it was annoying to deal with. Some sand would get blown into the pool.. especially after a backwash followed by a rinse. Could be the sand I bought (purpose made for pool filters and rinsed thoroughly before installation in a five gallon bucket) but it was easy enough to vacuum it up with a regular vacuum setup. Something that frustrated me greatly was that the output for the filtered water return and the backwash waste port are both smooth bore.. no threaded connection for regular plumbing fittings. I had to clamp a rubber tube to the filter output then to an adapter to get it necked down to the 1.25” hoses that came with my pool… (These hoses fit the pump intake just fine)..This connection leaked whenever it was running even though I cranked the hose clamps. I wrapped both ends with silicone tape and that helped. The regular vacuum hose end fits nicely into the inside of the waste port so that worked out well. I had no problems with the included hose that connects pump output to filter input. I used this on a 1200 gallon inflatable ring pool… lol. A bit overkill but it kept it absolutely crystal clear. Overall I’d recommend it to friends and family.

Great product, would recommend it and buy it again.. Will Save you hundreds over a paper filter that you have to replace every week... Just needs to say sand not included

Quieter than our last pump. It started putting sand back in our pool however. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded quickly and helped us troubleshoot the issue. I would buy again

It seemed like our old kit pump was maxed out in the pool it came with. Surprise surprise the kit pump and all the rest of above ground pool equipment seems like fisher price toy playsets on the brink of failure for using as intended, but I digress. We do have a bunch of trees and we get a lot of leaves so we really needed a bigger pump and this one has delivered. It also is a little more sophisticated with the timer feature. The kit pump did not have this; just an on/off switch and with the case being that it was maxed out, we had it running all the time. Now, we've got this thing running just a few hours a day when we're not using the pool and then turn it on for the day when we're in it so we save a few bucks on our energy bill. Bigger and better what else is there to say.

I am giving this company a 5 star review due to them taking good care us when we bought the 16” sand filter with pump. We had a problem with the pump and these guys took care of us well beyond our expectations in a timely manner. Would highly recommend this company!!

I discovered this pump as a replacement to the cheap filter type supplied with our quick set pool. This came packed better than I have had name brand stuff packaged. After a quick hour of set up, I had this up and running. It quickly had a nice rotation created in our 5500 gallon. I was very happy with the quality of my swimming for the year. I definitely recommend this filter for the insta set pool.

I installed on my pool easily. Keeps water looking good. Built in timer a plus. Pump runs very quiet. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

Easy to set up and it is super quiet. Pool outlets were 1 1/4 40mm and hoses for pump are 1 1/2 so needed to locate bushings to get a tight seal.
