Decided to try this one to save some money off the T branded one. It's been great so far. It's not one solid piece, but I haven't had any issues with that. Padding is decent, and it just feels great to do squats without loading my shoulders and upper back. I started having shoulder issues which prevented me from reaching back in a traditional squat form. This alleviates that as well as you're squatting more straight up and down instead of leaning forward a bit, like you usually have to.

For the average user of this squat safety bar, it is every bit as good as the more expensive brand name bars, but at a much more affordable price. Solid build with comfortable padding. I definitely do not regret getting this one.

Was skeptical to get this but pulled the trigger a couple weeks ago because it was $100. I've never had a bar come in 3 pieces and had to be put together so wasn't sure if it would actually be sturdy for heavy lifting. Turns out it's totally fine. This is one of the only \"cheaper' SSBs that the shoulders aren't way too wide, this one is the right width for normal shoulder width people that you can do Hatfield squats (hold onto the squat rack, instead of the handles, and squat with it balanced on your shoulders). Considering buying a second since there is a coupon right now

So, have been doing a ton of research on ssb's. Getting older know and really wanted to get back into squats after not doing them for several years due to shoulder issues. I remembered back 30 yrs ago when i was younger and MUCH stronger, and i loved the one we had in our gym and wanted another but was surprised how much they were! Couldn't really justify 3-4 hundred for one, and didn't want to completely cheap out on one of the 3 piece ones-saw this one and took a chance, and man i was surprised! Super well built, solid single piece, nice padding (collar isn't too wide as some others i have read about-i'm 5' 10\" and 170, so not not big by any means and its perfect!). Balance is spot on. The one we used to use in our gym didn't have handles, and this one does, but the balance is so good you don't really need them. Pleasantly surprised and am super happy. I didn't want it to feel \"cheap\" and it doesn't. Solid piece!!!

I was looking at getting a popular brand that was about double the price. I chose to try this instead. So far so good!

I was accustomed to using the safety squat bar at my gym that was much more expensive and I gambled on buying this Vevor bar for my house but it paid off. I feel like this balances out even better on my shoulders to the point where it’s not even necessary to hold the handles. I initially started using this type of squat bar after a shoulder injury made it difficult to reach back to secure a straight bar. I realized that with the plates being shifted forward it allowed me to stand up straighter putting much less strain on my lower back when squatting. The safety squat bar is the only type of bar I now use for squatting to preserve the health of my lower spine.

After shoulder surgery I had lost the mobilty to move my arm far enough back to hold a standard bar. With this bar I'm able to perform squats safely and with no pain.

Excellent item for the price...

After shoulder surgery, I don't have the range of motion to hold a straight bar for squats. This solves that problem. My bar had none of the issues described in other reviews. It came with the required screws, the three pieces went together properly, and the assembled bar is solid.

It was an adjustment but very comfortable to use and more comfortable .
