When I received this I thought it was even better than I expected. This is a very nice retractable extension cord with a heavy duty electrical cord and 3 head lighted outlet.It comes with a solidly build metal mounting plate that the retractable body just slides into. That allows it to be easily removed and carried to use in a different location if desired. I mounted it in my garage and have used it several times and it has thus far worked flawlessly.It comes with both wood screws and anchor bolts for mounting into wood or concrete. I used the wood screws and they seem to be heavy duty themselves. I drilled pilot holes with a 3/32 drill bit and then needed a #3 phillips bit with an impact driver to screw them solidly into the wood, and it is rock solid.If I ever want another one I wouldn't hesitate to get this one again. It deserves this 5 star rating.

Excellent retractable extension cord, easy to install and sturdy construction. Spring retract has good tension. Cord quality is good with a triple plug end on it.

This extension cord is really a great product. It takes care of three things that always bother me about extension cords when I'm using them in my garage:1. Multiple outlets - I frequently need two outlets, and sometimes three. This cord covers it all.2. Retractable - I hate it when cords get twisted and knotted when reeling them up for storage. The self-retracting feature works great and the cord remains straight and flexible when in use.3. Place to hang - This item is provided with mounting hardware that makes it super easy to swivel out of the way when not in use.It also has an integral resettable fuse to ensure that potential overloads are protected against.Overall, I highly recommend this retractable extension cord, particularly at the listed price.

After spending some time in the engineering workshop at my school, I noticed that using these type of retractable extension cords is really worth the investment. At the workshop, they keep about 15 of these spread all throughout the classroom, which is pretty big, so we all have to use them on a regular basis to charge our phones, the tools we use, and such.Putting this in my garage was absolutely wonderful as I no longer had to connect and disconnect from a rinky-dinky outlet, which in my opinion was getting annoying because sometimes the connection would unplug as the outlet is a bit loose.Now, I can work around the garage and actually get some work done thanks to this retractable extension cord reel. I absolutely recommend this for any type of workshop environment where you will be moving around a lot.

I am using this in my garage.I like the length of the retractable power cord.I like that there's a light that glows inside to let you know there's power running through it.The case is solid, nothing feels cheap. This is good quality.There's mounting hardware included in case you want to mount it.Now I don't have to plug two extension cords together like I used to.I'm satisfied with this retractable extension cord reel.I hope this helps.

This is so much nicer than tripping over coils of heavy duty extension cords on the floor of our garage. It even has the option of permanently attaching to the wall. My husband is loving it. We need a heavy duty extension cord for mowing the lawn, power washing the cobblestones, for the table saw, and chop saw, etc., etc., etc. The extension reel let’s the cord out to any convenient length and when you are done, it retracts the cord. It’s easily portable to any job site. A must for the handy man or handy woman.

Best thing I have installed in my garage so far. Sturdy and does not bind up. Many reels leave little room so they bind up but this has enough clearance and fully retracts every time. Heavy gauge and seems like it will last me a lifetime.
