I’m always doing some sort of project and often require the use of several power tools at a time. For these projects, I regularly move my saws, drills, compressor…etc. outside to avoid making a huge mess in the garage and run extension cords out. So I mounted this reel near my garage door to extend into the driveway. This has been perfect!!! Having the triple outlet allows for multiple tools to be plugged in. It can be so annoying to have to unplug/plug when switching between tools and then have to gather the cords all back up when done. It’s so nice to only need the one cord and all you have to do is tug it to retract. It comes with all the mounting hardware, which is great! It took me a bit to get mine set up because my garage walls are cinder block. Funny enough though, I used this for the extension cord for when I drilled the holes to put it up…lol Highly recommend!!!!

i have wanted one of these for a while and it is super handy to have an extension cord where you need it when you need it. i am already getting alot of use out of this reel!

I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these sooner. It is awesome. Retracts well and helps keep the garage better organized without having cords laying around to trip over. Happy with it.

These can be mounted to the wall or pillar in a workshop- but be aware that the unit is heavy and needs to be securely mounted, otherwise you will risk tearing it off the wall. The heavy gauge wire makes this suitable for any shop power tool, and the ratchet mechanism works well enough. If I could suggest one thing- if you make the unit detachable at the mounting bracket it would useful to install another bracket somewhere else so you don't have to end up buying another.

I have a pretty nice shop (I can get 5 cars in it and still have room to move around a work). I was excited to get this 50ft extension on a reel and try it out. I knew right where it was going to go.My fuse box is by the shop door. You can see a wall plug under the newly installed reel. I use to have go get a couple of 25ft extension cords ,,, plug them in ... run it outside to whatever I was working on (buffing cars etc) and then have to put it all away. Now this is all right there for me.Inside my shop at the car bays I have a couple of 30ft Craftsman' s reels I have used (and replaced) for years. This VEVOR Retractable Extension Reel runs circles around the Craftsman reels. It is MUCH better built, heavier wire. Love the illuminated plug (So, much I turn my wall switch to illuminate as well) and there is 3 recepticals at the end of the wire.The install was easy with the provide screws. I did adjust the stopper ball to not hang so much tail. It needs a phillips head screw driver and you just loosen it and slide it to wear you want.I highly reccomend this product. It easily gets 5-stars.

Pros: Although it lightweight it feels sturdy. The extension and retraction works very smooth and you don't have to worry about it reeling on one side as it auto feeds/reels spreading the cable. The 3-way connector end is lit when power is present, which is a great feature. Be sure to mount this level on the wall or you can't take advantage of the slick feature of it swing out of the way up against the wall. Sounds trivial but it sure is nice to move it out of the way!Cons: On to the only negative to this cord reel and that's the mounting bracket. I'm guessing this is to be used when a stud isn't available as it just complicates the install. My recommendation is to simply mount it to the wall stud, concrete block, or a steel post with 2 mounting lag bolts or steel bolts with a hex head. The instructions provided tell you to install the bracket on the wall and the provided set screw isn't necessary. Although it does work there a lot of movement with the bracket and reel, causing very audible clunks when using the reel.

Tangled cables and extension cords are a pet peeve of mine. I always take the extra time to properly coil them after use. Not all members of the family are as concerned and I often find a tangled mess of cords. This retractable extension reel has solved this problem. It is heavy duty and plenty long enough. It also has a lighted three outlet tap and can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. Ours is mounted on the wall and so far exceeds expectations.

Very nice good quality 50' retractable extension cord and reel. Heavy duty, nice weight. Very handy in the garage or workshop. Easy to install. Great value .Would recommend.

Very nice reel and extension cord. Heavy duty. Please keep in mind, this is not meant to be portable! It is heavy and has no handle. It is meant to be mounted in a stationary place (Like a garage) and the cord reeled out to where power is needed. The 50 Ft. length is great and will get where you need it.

This extension cord reel is so convenient to have. It is easy to install. Once installed, you can use the extension cord and it will automatically retract once you are done. So much better than having to mess with having to unwrap and wrap up an extension cord.
