I purchased the SAE J1772 Level 1+2 15 Amp charger to replace my broken BMW OEM L1 charger that came with my i3. This charger was much cheaper than purchasing a new OEM charger and works better. It is much less flimsy than my original charger that broke, and the cord is much longer (25 ft) which is convenient. I like that the charger has a plastic cover and a compact carrying case that zips. Another issue I had with my OEM charger was that the case it came with has one tiny piece of velcro and it wouldn’t stay closed; I don’t have that issue with this charger. I purchased this charger for when I travel, so I tested it over night in the rain and it charged my car with no issues and was fine in the rain. I’m very happy with this purchase for my 2018 BMW i3!

It has multiple current settings. It actually tells you how long it charges for and how many kWh was charged to the car. You can easily calculate how much you are paying for your electricity once you know your electricity rates at that time. It is capable to pull 32amps, so be careful how much your wall can provide if you were using an adapter cable to your outlet. Many laundry outlets only have 30 amps, so 24 amps settings is good enough for me. If you have a 50 amps outlet, then you can actually pull up to 32 amps to charge your car.

Bought this for my 240v outlet to charge 2020 Toyota Prius Prime. Battery charges from empty to full in 1 hour 50 minutes. No issues with overheating or anything. Had a licensed electrician wire 60AMP line and install NEMA 14-50R plug in the garage. Really happy with the cable and the price.

I use this to charge my car outside of home. Compact, long cords and charges very fast.

I like the features and cord length. I dislike the paper manual because it had missing instruction and misspelling to confusing.

Charged Mach-E @ 3 mile range per hour while plugged into Standard US 120VAC outlet w/ provided nema 5-15 adapter.

No issues after 2 months of use. Had to buy a plug adaptor for my 220 to make this work but no complaints

I found this for less than $200 here, and at that price it's fantastic. It has charged well at 32 amps as my regular charger and has also worked with other unusual amps found at campgrounds, friends houses, etc with the use of an adapter. It'd be great if it would charge up to 40 amps, but at this price I can live with 32. Good buy, very versatile. Gets a little warm at times, but nothing that I've found to be alarming yet.
