This was supposed to be a used motor but I can’t tell. It looks, runs, sounds, and fit perfectly.

I first purchased this motor in 2015 to replace an old pool filter motor. To start the summer of 2022, my filter motor was frozen. I got 7 years out of the first one, I think that’s about right in today’s world. Easy to install and we are swimming in a clean pool again.

Its a big heavy motor that is very strong. This can be very dangerous if not used safely.

Tough construction and very motivated motor that can handle the bigger tasks. Efficient and the model looks like one that would be easy to get replacement parts for if it did go out. Simple setup. You can use this on an above ground pool. Isn't too loud. The mechanics work smoothly. We're had no problems with it overheating. I'm happy with the overall performance.

I picked this up right as my old pool pump motor was dying. Installing it wasn't any more difficult than last time I changed my motor. There are many tutorials on how to do it. Wiring is the same as any other 1 speed pump.... Seems to be quieter than my old pump, but that pump was also failing due to salt water intrusion....Time will tell if this one lasts, but so far so good...

Replaced a US Century 1.5 electric pump that corroded terribly in a matter of 18 months and stopped working. The degree of corrosion was unbelievable. This is not my first run in with cheap Mexican made pumps and I was desperate for a fairly priced alternative. This Vevor lined up reasonably well, although the space to get a tool to tighten the 4 flange bolts is very tight. Have a thin wall socket and open end wrench when you start your project. Pump includes provisions for hard wiring or use of an included plug. Nice touch! Seems heavier and at the same time uses plastic around all electrical covers which is a great thing to avoid corrosion issues. Will let you know if it fails, but for now am cautiously optimistic, Vevor will be my new go to brand for electric motors.

Great price for a solid motor, I used this to replace a pump on a large pond and it went smoothly. Build quality seems just as good as the hayward it replaced for about half the price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking.
