I do live sound production. I used the cable protectors to safeguard cables running from the stage to the production canopy. This is a somewhat high foot traffic area. Although the protectors were walked on, bumped into, and generally suffered abuse...,.. they did not move, they did not flip over or in any way expose the cable runs. They performed perfectly!

The single channel guard was exactly what I needed. I had an extension cord run from the house to my garage, which is about 85-90 feet. Because of the distance a fairly heavy extension cord was required. Unfortunately, cars using my driveway were mashing the wire & damaging the insulation. I tried one package of 4 cable/wire protectors and my new extension cord is still looking new. Instead of constantly replacing a damaged cord, I'm able to use the cord as intended & keep it safe from the trucks & cars that roll over my driveway daily. Last fall, I had to replace 3, one hundred foot 10 guage extensions. A new one every 3-4 weeks. Nearly 2 months since the protectors, & extension cord is still pristine. Thanks for a great product @ a reasonable price. Count on me to recommend your product.

Protected an exrension cord across a driveway that powered a Christmas display. Smells awful .

They do move a bit if not anchored down

Great product. We use it during the holidays and have extension cords running along the driveway. Very durable and visible at night when walking.

Smell is rather strong as was mentioned by a couple of other reviews but I use mine outside of my garage door. They are just a tiny bit too small for a standard size hose but still adds sufficient cushioning when the car drives over the hose to protect it from being damaged.
