I have a microphone that is constantly quiet, no matter what kind of preamp or mixer I connect it to. This becomes frustrating when using with other mics like my Shure 58 that is reliably outstanding. This preamp booster does an outstanding job of boosting the signal of the mic to more closely match other microphone equipment I use. A much more cost effective option that buying a new mic, and the versatility to use whenever a signal boost is needed!
