Hooked machine up to an R.O. Water system , no filters to mess with. Works quite well and will over produce . You need to monitor your humidity levels so that you do not over produce. Do not know how long it will live but could not ask for a better machine

I waited almost a month before writing this review, and I am pleased to report that it works great. I have positioned it to face the room and experienced no issues. Following a suggestion from one of the reviews, I use a Zero Water filter and a 5-gallon container to store water when I can't filter it immediately. I previously owned two large Venta air washers, but this one outperforms them and effectively adds humidity throughout my entire home, which is 1,630 square feet. I set it to 55%, and the humidity levels in the rooms range from 49% to 55%.

You DO NOT NEED TO USE DISTILLED or Reverse Osmosis WATER! Simply use GOOD FILTERED water. You can get ZEROWATER 22 cup model for only $25 - it will remove all minerals and easily last a year. The unit is silent, easy to configure and will easily humidify an entire floor. A BARGAIN under $100. Much better than Honeywell Evaporative Units - we had several of those and they are NOISY and a pain to constantly fill up

I was so impressed with my purchase that I bought two more one for each of my children. We all live in the northeast and the dry air in the winter is brutal. I get nose bleeds and really dry skin. Highly recommend it.

Rent a 150 yr old house w 14' ceiling and 25% humidity. Sensor does seem to be too accurate nor did the remote work but it brought my home from desert to jungle quick time. Recommend bluetooth hygrometer to supplement.

I've been using this humidifier for almost 2 years and it had worked perfectly.

Used it for 6 months. Does not turn on. Worked great while it did. Absolutely impossible to contact someone to do a warranty.

Been using this humidifier for several months, delivers advertised output of a max of 1L an hour on setting 3. I have been running on setting 2 due to sometimes getting the floor wet in front of it and that has removed that issue. If setting 3 is needed a fan blowing in the area has prevented that issue or using the alternative 4 head has removed the issue. Can easily set humidity desired, I do have separate meters for humidity on the far side of area. Comes with what you need on the humidifier side to have Auto fill the tank. I have not done that yet but I should. Water fill is easily done from the top.
