It perfectl has a slight problem getting cloth chain gaurd to stay in place thd way I wanted it but then again I could be a lil picky

I bought this to secure my Tree stand to the tree. Most people use a cable lock. I chose this chain for added security. When I received it I was surprised as the quality exceeded my expectations. These chains are the hot lick. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and the shipping time. I received it in two days after I ordered it. It is a great buy for the price and much stronger than it needed to be. The chain is heavy and well made. The lock is excellent and strong. I worked as a tool maker for 40 years and would recommend these chains anywhere you need to secure your valuables. I will definitely purchase more in the future

I read a lot of reviews complaining about the lock. For the money this suites if's purpose. When you buy items like this in a package deal to save money there normally is a corner cut to lower cost. This one the lock is the weakest link. For my application I'm ok with that. It was a bit difficult to get keys made. We needed 10 copies and I only received 4 keys which in normal use would be sufficient. Overall I like the setup.

The price is great. The chain alone is worth $50. Very heavy duty. I use it to lock up my motorcycle at home. It seems too heavy to lug around on a bicycle (15 lbs). The lock doesn't appear to be as heavy duty as the chain; though it's manufactured well, locks and unlocks smoothly. It did come with four keys, which is nice. My guess, however, is that the lock is the "weak link" in the chain. Despite this, I'd say it's secure enough to deter all but the most-determined and well-equipped thieves.

lock get stuck quite often, so I did apply some wd40 and now works like a charm, recommended
