It does the job
My husband loves this thing! I think it's bulky and hard to work with. Within a small space it is tough to move around and get it where it needs to be. We had a really hard time using it in the office and in the closet. In an open space. It works really well. It's the small, tight spaces that becomes a problem. Overall, I think it's worth the money, especially if you're doing the ceiling.

Good Jack, has minor issues
The jack is nice, the lever to release is really thin, and all the covers (black plastic pieces) have all come off at least once. The cable gets bound to the far side, but it still functions for now.

Did what it was supposed to do, no bells or whistles.
I ordered this to replace the ceilings in a couple of rooms in my house. After comparing the price of this unit to renting, I decided to own it and not deal with driving to town and having to deal with a rental. It was pretty easy to assemble, the upright was a little confusing, seemed to slant until I noticed there was a retaining piece I wasn't getting the upright into correctly. The wings are the only issue, they slide in and are just held with gravity. I needed to flip one piece of drywall around to get it up against a wall and when I brought the elevator back down the arm fell out and hit me in the head. For the price and the fact I'll probably only use it a few times it was worth it, just be aware of the parts and they just slide together and may fall out if rotated certain ways. I finished one ceiling, it will be a while before I need it again, but I'll just store it and keep in handy for other projects. Overall, it did what it needed to do, it was a little awkward to work with, but it was better than trying to get people to hold the panels up while screwing the sheets down. I was using 4 x 8 sheets, the edge dipped pretty far before getting them up to the ceiling, not sure if this could do a 4 x 12 sheet, it would probably work but it would be wobbly at best. Overall, I was able to complete the project and it served it's purpose.

Easy to Use
We bought this to put up drywall in our four car garage in our new home. This tool made it so that my husband could do everything by himself. We saved thousands not paying someone to drywall the garage.

Great idea for saving your back from injuries
Instructions were great. We assembled it quickly and it’s been easy to use. I hate the heaviness and awkwardness of working with Sheetrock. We’re in our late 60s and I’m sure this has saved us from injuries.
