This drum pump is made to move chemicals like the fertilizer I am pumping. It was easy to assemble with simple operation. I like that when I am done pumping I can reverse the flow and clear chemical out of the pump not wasting any. I then remove the pump and run clear water through it. Very pleased overall.

Works great

So far it works well but with the current hose does not siphon, so must be cranked continuously. I didn’t seal the joints so that may be part of the problem. I will dismantle it and seal the joints (tape was included) to see if that makes a difference. I also want to replace the current hose with a longer one to find out if that helps. I use it for water for my plants through winter as I have softened water that is not good for plants. I keep three 55 gallon drums in the basement of rain water that I collect all summer.

Works great! The plastic extension tube will not seal verry well even with hose clamp. It leaked around the stem seal at first. Once I snuggled it up, everything worked as expected!

I use this pump to transfer used engine oil for a waste oil heater It easily and speedily will pump used engine oil as long as it is above 45°f it will still pump cold oil just not as fast or easy. It seems to be pretty solid and has held up pretty good so far I have ran almost 500 gallons of waste oil through it.
