They function as needed. The crimp doesn't always turn out pretty if you don't get the terminal placed just right but it will clamp it down anyway. Not sure why gloves are included but they will be used for something. Cutters that cut, clampers that clamp, multiple size ends to choose and heat shrink tubing made fixing my cables a breeze.

Great set of crimping tools

I bought this unit to crimp an electrical connector on my snow plow. It worked flawlessly, is well constructed and easy to use! While it has limited use for me, I find it to be a tool that can be useful in many other projects and uses! Two thumbs up!

The crimpers work perfectly all the way up to 2/0 cable. Only minor complaint is that the jaws aren't marked standard gauge size so it takes a second to double check that you're using the right size.

Works well and is of good quality. I need a little practice to get coordinated to get faster at it. Happy with my purchase.

Instantly usable, fulfilled all requirements. Especially liked that it came with a sorted box of various terminal lugs and a package of pre-cut heat shrink tubes. These allowed me to proceed directly to completing the job that the purchase was designed to fulfill.
