I am writing this review because we read a lot of reviews that were poor because it appeared as though people didn't read the full information or didn't comprehend what they were reading. There is some conflicting information published depending on the website as to whether it is 220v or 110v - it's 110. No plug included - clearly stated but some bad reviews were specifically for this detail. We bought this unit to be our primary source of "stove top" cooking as we are renovating and won't have a stove for quite some time. We looked at/read-up on numerous griddles before choosing the 29" unit. Anything smaller wouldn't have worked for us. We have been using it daily for 2 months and couldn't be happier. Warms up quickly - turn it on as we begin prep - cooks evenly. The sides are great for slower cooking or keeping items warm. The 2 separate controllers allow for better variable control (one side can be hotter than the other). Unit is very heavy and solidly built. Plenty of space to cook numerous items at once. The only negative I see is the ledge around the grease drain - hard to clean under it with a spatula (paper towel does work though). This unit is INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL and not for the average kitchen. It's not a plug-in and go (we knew this at purchase). Requires a dedicated single pole 30 amp (110v) circuit in the panel and is wired directly or pluggable with the addition of a 30amp plug (not included). We chose to add a switch to be able to completely turn the unit off as it will always show as being on if plugged into an outlet. You will need to have electrical skills or will need an electrician to install. In my opinion, it requires considerable counter space to be able to work freely - 5' minimum - NOT EASILY PORTABLE. As this unit, and any griddle, takes considerable time to cool down, keep children away!!! Follow the seasoning guide and perform at least 5-7 times. If you have the option to season outside, it will be easier and less smelly than in an enclosed environment (this will apply to any griddle purchased that requires seasoning). Recommend an overhead vent system but not required.

I love my griddle. I'm usually up before the sun and when I get a taste for breakfast this griddle fits the bill. Whatever I'm cooking, I'll turn it on let it heat up while I'm preparing whatever I'm going to eat. I especially like pancakes cooked here because you can cook a few (depending on size) more than you can on the stove. It comes with a couple of basting brushes, and two griddle spatula things.

I love the griddle, use it for everything. A wire conector burn on one the the coils but easly replaced. Been working beautifully ever since. I have be useing it now for 3 years. still going stronge.

Works great for cooking everything from steak to stir fry. Would definitely purchase again. Heats up fast and holds heat well

I have a glass top electric range I hate, ever since I got the countertop grill I can cook like a professional chef once again. Love the product, gets hot fast, with a homemade splatter guard barely any mess to clean up, best money spent in a long time love it!

A third of the grill top does not heat. It would have been a good idea if the grill had separate thermostats. I have used a grill for many years and love to cook on a grill. Even with a third of the grill not heating it is still worth more than what i paid for it.

This flat top is everything great I expected.

I am absolutely amazed with this. I watched the review you tube videos and the how to videos before I bought it. It has turned out even better than the videos showed, from heat up time to high temperature. This so versatile in holding temperature, cooking burgers to fish and then easy clean up. All in all I feel it's the best bang for you buck.
