Use this chisel in my two retail flooring stores for tile removal and light scraping of debris off of the slab. Chisel will remove thinset as well but I use a grinder and vacuum to control the dust.
I used the Clay Spade to help cut through hard compacted ground around my foundation for a French drain, it worked great ripped through little rocks and hard soil with ease, kept me from swinging the pick axe.
Excellent bit for electric jack hammer to dig holes in hard-packed clay soil.
Have used this bit on an electric jack hammer to dig holes of various sizes in hard clay soil with no problems. It has saved many hours of back breaking labor.
I am a fence installer by trade and I frequently have to dig through clay and rock. This bit really saves alot of shovel time. Once you learn the technique, you will never leave home without it!!
