This thing is amazing!! I was so skeptical about getting this and it exceded my expectations. It powered through hard clay and tree roots. I didn't have to use the picaxe.
Work great and holds up well. I use this is the south where we have a lot of hard red clay, and it goes through it like butter. I also like that it is a bit shorter at the stem than other spade bits I have used in the past.
Works great...I purchased this bit for removing slate tiles from a slab. The bit works great but dulls quickly...flipping the bit over and using the other side helps. I bought two bits so I can rotate through them and sharpen them after I'm done with them. Great chisel bit!
Works great in Texas clay! Sliced through a mixture of gravel and clay. I was able to dig a ditch in a confined space without any problem. If you have an SDA Max tool that will drive this, you'll be happy.
