I live in a very hard clay soil area. For years, every time my wife wanted to plant anything, I had to swing a pick ax to break up the soil. This spade attachment eliminates the problem. Easily breaks up the clay. I wish I had bought it years ago.
This tool has performed incredibly for me. It has saved my back and feet. Great for digging out shrubs and for planting. Also great for trenching to bury low voltage wiring.
Anytime I need a drill bit of any kind, I look for Bosch. Bosch bits seem to hold up very well. They always seem to be made good, and a really all around good quality.
Ever try to pound a ground rod into hard or rocky soil. Meet your new best friend. Already having a great Roto Hammer I plugged this in and in minutes was done. No hammering, no sweating, no swearing to censure. The hardest part was holding up the hammer drill.
