Nice product but not adjustable. The risers have to be the exact size otherwise the rail will look crooked

Overall it is a 4 Star product. The steps had a very low riser. 6 3/4”. So the angle of the pre fab step railing did not work for us. We needed to re weld the plate after cutting the square tubing. After the installation the railing was plumb and level; as it should be.

Perfect for making grandmothers happy. Just the hand up they needed.

Place inside but husband said it was for outside, it should be clearer where to place railing.. if it was meant for outside only then it should be noted

Solid product, looks great. Hardware is abit shady. I went to lowes and picked up better concert anchors. I had to use a wood block to level it because my sidewalk had settled lower.

The installation instructions were so faint, I had to use YouTube to learn how the best and safest way to install it. This product is designed to be installed into concrete. However, I installed it into thick hard wood using longer lag screws. It worked fine, but it is too heavy for cheaper, thinner or softer wood. It says it is for outside use. However a stone mason built my house and he used thicker hard wood on the three stairs inside my house. I would not recommend installing this product on anything less than three inches thick. It's weight would easily crack the wood.

The metal railing is sturdy but I was unable to install because it lacked support to the house and wouldn't have been supportive enough for our needs. Our stairs are also old from the 1950's and not totally even so the square bracket wouldn't have been flush to the stair for installation. I'm not sure how that would have affected it but looked like it would have been an issue. We had to return unfortunately but I liked everything else about it.
