I got this and was all excited... My 6" drop is just a shy too far down, and my 4" drop is just a tad too high. So, something like this, where I can adjust where I want AND easily flip it and run either the 2" or the 2 5/16" ball is great! It was going to be perfect. Came very well-packed and looked good. Once I inspected it though I got concerned, no stamping of weight rating on the hitch anywhere. I mean, I don't tow over 5000lbs, and this is supposedly rated to 15,000lbs... However, without some sort of weight rating stamped on it, I am reluctant to use this with a heavy trailer and on the open road. I cannot verify, but if something were to happen, trailer related, I don't know if using this would invalidate my insurance, I suggest looking it up yourself. It's also not exactly tight on all the pieces. The ball hitch has a ton of play in the adjusters. I can shake it back and forth, as well as when its installed in the receiver of my truck the hitch has almost 1/4" or more of play, meaning a trailer can really bounce up and down and slam into the hitch, which is not a good thing, bending/damage can easily occur. The hitch lock is also one of those basic "lock at the end" styles that you can jam a screwdriver into and turn and unlock, not to mention it will rust on you in a heartbeat, so don't use that pin as your primary.So, I wish I could have used this, I truly, really, honestly do. This would have helped me out greatly with versatility and ease of towing. But without a weight rating clearly on it ANYWHERE, even the paperwork is elusive, I just can't in good faith use this on the road..

For a lower cost adjustable hitch it's pretty nice. I just wished it had a1-7/8" ball. That would make it very useful.The construction is nicely done and the hitch will last a good bit.

easy to assemble and adjust this is perfect for my use around the farm where we have several different trailers at different heights and different ball sizes. it is quite heavy and built extremely well, i have used it over the last few weeks on several different trailers and it was easy to adjust on the fly, i didn't understand what the rubber pads were for so they are sitting on my work bench unused. the hitch didn't make any more or less noise than other adjustable types i have used in the past and overall i am very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone

It is very solid and of a heavy build. It has lots of adjustability.

I have not towed with it yet but it is installed. It's very heavy duty. I see other comments about no weight rating on the hitch which is correct. My trailer to no where the 22K pounds it claimed it pulls so I'm not too concerned.

If weight was a deciding factor this is the winner. Talk about tough material this unit is tough. Easy to installon my GMC Yukon and looks sturdy as can be. Not sure what I'll be pulling but it should be at least 20 ft longand weighs a lot accordingly. The tongue weight is an impressive 3,000 pound with 2,200 pulling force. Thedesign of the base is able to drop or rise 6 inches. The stainless steel is rust proof and the design is of one piececonstruction. To top it off there is a built in keyed lock to help with thieves. A good product that deserves 5 stars.

Got this for my husbands new truck. It arrived quickly and was very well packaged. Super heavy duty, good manufacturing(no bad welds or weak spots), easy to install. Hubby was very impressed with the quality(he is a manual machinist by trade). He needed an adjustable hitch set-up because the truck sits pretty high. The two ball sizes make this a perfect multi-purpose adjustable hitch setup. We are very happy with how it looks...will update after we use it for tow/haul.

towed my motorcycle just fine over course of 3 days. Left in in truck bed that had slow drip and it can see the rust but other than that very solid towing accessory.
