Have used it mostly for meat, we make our own bacon and such and it has performed flawlessly. Made a whole ribeye and sliced the leftover super thin for some great roast beef sandwiches.

The 10 inch, 150 watt meat slicer gets the job done. Quality build ensures a very sturdy work surface. I’ve sliced delicate apples to frozen beef for jerky and it gets the job done. This is not one of those appliances that you dread using because you hate cleaning it. Easily disassembled in less than a minute. Love that built on blade sharpener, but have not needed to use it yet because the blade hasn’t dulled. Reassembly is fast. Maintence required is basically just a little bit of food grade mineral oil and you’re all set for the next use. Don’t want to forget to let you know, it’s supper quite. So far ..so good. Did. exactly what I needed it for. I expect use it more for a variety uses around the house in the near future, including fresh bread and a choice of vegetables for the grill.

Received today. Tried it out. Cut great but. Down side is, the instructions that came with it totally, TOTALLY suck. The wording and extreme lack of information on how to use the sharpening stones is a complete fail when it comes to this type of device. I do NOT recommend this for first time users.

It makes meal preparation a lot easier especially if you like cooking for large groups of people. It cut through meats, veggies, and fruits nicely. The only downside side is the proper cleaning and oiling after you finish is time consuming.

My son uses this and loves it! Great companion to Freeze Drying. He uses it almost daily . Great quality
