I was hesitant to purchase this item due to low cost, afraid it wouldn't work well. I wanted a Foredom, but couldn't justify their much higher price. I have used this tool for general tool maintenance and sharpening, but mostly for power carving. It's very powerful, quiet and effective. I noticed there was no grease on the flex shaft, but it was easy to apply (I used Foredom shaft grease). The Chuck works well, but the handpiece gets warm (not hot). Several people complain in other reviews that the variable speed foot switch isn't good. I disagree, it works fine and I'm easily able to control the speed. However, I agree with others that the cord from the foot control is too short, but easily corrected with a short extension cord. I'd buy it again.

I have a Dremel with flex shaft and due to my mistake, I broke the shaft a couple of times, I was looking at the name brand units but I don't have the budget for it now, this was only a little more then a new flex shaft. I am more than satisfied with this,

This is a great tool, very nicely priced. Have had it in use for a year. Works perfect. Slight modification to the shield for the chuck made it even better. I just rounded the edges where it was cut out for he chuck key. Allowed more clearance for the chuck key.

Wonderful power and quality. Have to get used to the foot petal but man can that baby take away the wood!

I use this item to sand and polish. This machine has the stuff to do it, too . The footpedal gives to the choice to put extra motion when needed. It runs a good long time before it starts to really warm up. I do take occasional breaks so it doesn't overheat. Perfect size for big or small jobs. The end of the wand makes it easy to change bits and hold them securely, even when your revving at top speed. A grinder that is a seriously great investment .

I absolutely love this, I wish the electric cord was longer & the cord to the tool itself could also be longer so I could hang it above me while working . But other than that it's a beast, well worth the money. I highly recommend it. It's very easy to use

This is my second Vevor product if Amazon had them I would give it 7 Stars for unbelievable Value and in both cases a minus 1 for manual….In the universe I inhabit With it’s Laws of Physics friction etc….All Flexible Shafts require grease for the shaft to operate properly…(see online videos on how to) the shaft in this case comes without grease or directions in the manual I received as to how to…..i read a lot of reviews of broken shafts…Were they Greased?….like many operations in life; Lubrication is more than a little helpful…..The Abs pedal is functional tenuously but I replaced it with a spare foredom (made of metal and more durable)….For what I paid the accessories alone would be worth it…I don’t know why Vevor supplies manuals and directions as they do….but If you apply your own experience and common sense the end result is I believe an unreal Bargain.

Price is right! Don’t waste your money on a brand name. You can two of these for less than a “F” brand! You might have to upgrade the handpiece - I will say the handpiece sucks. But the motor is great.
