I currently work as a manufacturing consultant for a high end architectural lighting manufacture, so I am pretty well versed in the pros and cons of LED lighting. My wife runs her own business, formulating and producing natural skin care products, her current production lab was woefully underlit, with your typical fluorescent tube "shop" lights; crappy color rendition, shadows and buzzing fixtures.
Based on the low cost, I did not have high hopes for these Vevor flat panels (2'x4'). However I was pleasantly surprised. They came well packaged, the units themselves look very well made and have a good stiff structure, not flimsy at all. Most importantly, the lighting is fantastic. the units are evenly illuminated (not an easy feat) and produce a very pleasing, shadow free light.
The other reason I chose these was the ability to change the color temperature (4000k is our got to) and 3 level dimming, with the ability to add a remote dimmer.
They would work great in a drop ceiling, in our case the ceiling tiles are attached directly to the rafters (old house) so I used some aluminum C channel to mount (photo). This allows the panel to slide in and out like a cassette if we ever choose to move them.
Over all, very pleased and would highly recommend.
