We returned the first one purchased and were hopeful that the second unit would not have the same problem. When laid flat, the unit operates up and down with little noise at all, but once in the vertical position, with the TV mounted, it makes an annoying chattering sound when lowered.Ours is a 32- inch Hisense, flat screen TV and it is very light in weight. When the second unit had the same issue, I resolved it by adding spring tension, being careful not to exceed the stated weight limit.With that one exception, we are pleased with the quality and value. It is too soon however to say how long it will operate reliably, as it was just installed over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

the instructions were very unclear. no pictures of the parts that came with it. the screws were all combined in two small bags. this product needs better instructions.

This was exactly what I was looking for and it was pretty easy to put together minus those instructions. Good thing I'm pretty savvy with putting things together. It's really quite too. Only thing was the price dropped immediately after I received it. Would be 5 stars but the $100 price drop didn't sit well with me. I would recommend this product and thinking about ordering another one in the future.

This unit was perfect for a compact installation at the foot of the bed. The mechanism is robust enough to use a simple 2-shelf-board structure as shown. A nice shawl covers it when down, for a clean and compact look.

Well, it took awhile to install. The instructions were worthless. No written instructions only pictures and the parts I had were not what was in the picture. And then while I was reviewing the pictures again. I laid them down and while my back was turned my dog ate the instructions. I figured it out so I think I was better off without the instructions. I like it. It is very quiet and lifts well. I would like it if there was more stabi!ization for the 65" TV, but I am sure I can figure something out.

We bought this to use in our RV. Works great! Installed it in a cabinet.

It has 2 small issues.The wired remote is reversed. "Retracted" raised the TV.You must install the TV mount before installing the slider on wall.It would be nice if the 4 nuts were welded or attached to the outer slide cover.

The directions for this are pretty much useless.
