Used to using 1" wide, 30" long belts. Had to move up to a 1-1/2" x 30" belt for this sander, but other than that this works just fine and gets the job done.

I like it. I have to clean huge amounts of 2 inch nominal pipe. Not real shiny just dust the rust before ospho treatment and paint. This seems well made and easy to work. It is powerful and doesn't really take much to get it to work.Hope this helps.
Easy to load the sand paper, no tools needed. Love the variable speed. I used 60 grit sandpaper on a very rusty metal pipe, ground off all the rust in no time. Prime and paint, looks just like new again.
Doesn't have the rpm as high as my angle grinder which is a good thing. I can smooth pipe and nock rust off quickly.. leaves a nice smooth finish with 80 grit
Seems high quality. My company has a couple of Germany made tubing grinder that cost 900 dollars on sale!But I can’t tell any difference in quality. I’m very pleased with the one I bought.
